Kindly note: Student Connect deals are available for new activations only. You can either receive a new SIM or activate an existing prepaid SIM. These deals are not applicable to existing contracts. This is a unique offer, and the provision of data will take 1-4 working days after the clearance of funds on a new sim card. Existing cards will be provisioned as soon as possible and handled on a case-by-case basis. Porting numbers may be delayed from your existing service provider. Please be aware that the application must undergo a verification process, which requires additional time to complete. Existing data on your device will fall away once the deal has been activated. No Refunds will be accepted once the Data has been provisioned.
Ordering Process
Ordering a new or existing SIM from our online store is quick and hassle-free. Simply place your order on our website and complete the payment process. For new SIMs, activation takes 1 to 4 working days, during which you’ll receive updates on the status of your order. Once activated, the SIM is tested, dispatched, and delivered to your doorstep.
If you’re using an existing SIM, you need to port the number to MTN directly. Send an SMS from the current prepaid number you wish to port to initiate the request. The SMS must be sent from the number that is currently active on the previous network. Format: PORTME#<MTN_Prepaid_SIM_Number> Send this message to 083 767 8287 (MTN porting line). Once complete, you can then purchase the package and we will then request your number to activate the package.
Whether new or existing, we’ll keep you informed every step of the way until your order is complete! Once purchased, you can also top up your data through other platforms, such as banking apps. These top-ups will work seamlessly with your existing packages, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity whenever you need it.
